Curtis Bay Community Garden

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The students at Curtis Bay Elementary in Maryland had a problem. The majority were from poor neighborhoods that were food wastelands. Healthy eating habits were not a priority. With the help from The Nature Conservancy and CSX, the teachers and students broke ground on a community garden and planted the seeds for future good health.
